Find the right fit for your breakroom.

A & M Vending has served Chicagoland workplaces since 2011, and our water division since 2005. Vending, Micro Marts, office coffee, fresh and frozen food, and bottled water, all stocked by our own team out of Downers Grove. Tell us about your site and we will recommend the mix that fits.

What we install and service

One local company for the whole breakroom.

Six ways to fill the room. Start with one or take all of it. Open any card to see what it includes.

An A & M Micro Mart installation with four glass-door refrigerated coolers, open snack shelving on both side walls and a wall-mounted self-checkout kiosk

Micro Mart

A self-service store in your breakroom, open 24 hours, with checkout at a 3 Square Markets kiosk.

Full service vending

Snack, beverage, coffee and food machines for rooms and floors where a full market will not fit.

An A & M office coffee station: a bean-to-cup brewer with a touchscreen, a second beverage dispenser, tiered condiment and tea organizers on the counter and stocked wooden shelves above

Office coffee and tea

Airpot brewers through bean-to-cup espresso, sized to your headcount and your morning peak.

Refrigerated cooler stocked with salads, sandwiches, wraps, and yogurt parfaits

Fresh and frozen food

Refrigerated and frozen meals held at temperature, in a market cooler or a food machine.

A blue hand truck loaded with four five gallon water bottles being wheeled across a polished floor, with the delivery person walking behind it

Built around your site

What changes for your kind of building.

The same services get put together differently depending on who is in the building and when. Open the closest match.

The room is never idle and rarely supervised. High-capacity machines near the floor plus a Micro Mart in the main breakroom, frozen and refrigerated food for shifts with nothing open nearby, and airpot or batch coffee because there is no one to service a brewer overnight. Cashless payment cuts cash handling and jam disputes. Best fit for plants running two or three shifts. If the overnight crew has nothing but an empty machine, you hear about it in retention numbers before facilities ever mentioned it.

Who does the work

Family operated, running our own routes.

Anthony Appleyard founded A & M Vending in 2011, and the family had been delivering water here since 2005. It is still family operated, still based in Downers Grove, and still running its own trucks.

  • Our drivers and technicians are ours, on consistent routes, so they learn your building and your dock.
  • Call (708) 837-6574 at any hour of any day and a person picks up.
  • If a program is not a good fit for your site, we will tell you instead of installing it.

How it works

Four steps to get started.

No charge for the walkthrough or the plan, and no equipment cost on a traditional program.

  1. Step 1

    Tell us about the site

Headcount, shift pattern, square footage, and what is in the room now. Two minutes on the form, or one call to Downers Grove.

  2. Step 2

    We schedule a walkthrough

We will coordinate a visit to walk your space.

  3. Step 3

You get a plan in writing

The service mix we recommend, the product list, the program structure, and pricing. On paper before you decide anything.

  4. Step 4

We install and keep it stocked

Equipment installed and serviced by our own technicians, then restocked against real sales data. Every machine is tracked, and you can text us about any issue.

For HR and people teams

Gift cards your team will actually use.

Loading credit onto the market is one of the easier things we do, and HR teams reach for it more than they expect. Recognition, safety milestones, holidays, or a hard week on the floor. You set the amount and the timing, and we handle the rest.

  • Gift cards and market credit in whatever amount you set.
  • Loaded to the Micro Mart kiosk, so it spends like cash on site.
  • We work with your HR team on the program and the run dates.

Before you ask

Straight answers.

You do not need to know the equipment or the program structure before you call.

How do we get started?

Send the form or call (708) 837-6574. We come look at your space, then put a plan in writing. No charge, and nothing to sign to find out.

What does it cost us?

On a traditional program, nothing. We own, install and service the equipment and earn our return on product sales. You provide the space and a power outlet.

Is our site big enough?

Most of our Micro Marts are in workplaces with 30 or more people on site. Below that, vending usually serves the room better, and we install and service that too. Tell us your headcount and we will tell you which one fits.

What do we need in place?

Space, a power outlet, and ideally internet. That covers everything from one machine to a full Micro Mart.

How much work is this for our team?

Almost none. We design the room, install it, stock it and service it. Your people never handle product, cash or maintenance.

Can we use this as an employee benefit?

Yes. Subsidize part of the price, cover it entirely, or load gift cards for your team. HR groups use the gift cards for recognition, safety milestones and holidays.

What products can we get?

Name brands, trending items, better-for-you options, fresh and frozen meals, and the full coffee and tea line. You approve the list, and it changes with what sells.

Can we get healthier options?

Yes, and you decide how much shelf space they get. Better-for-you products are part of our standard line, not a special order.

How do you keep it stocked?

Wireless monitoring reports inventory and sales in real time, so we restock against what actually sold. You should not have to call us about an empty shelf.

What if something breaks or a machine takes money?

Text us. Every machine is tracked, so we usually see a fault before you do. SureVend confirms the product dropped, and offers a different pick or a refund if it did not.

Do the machines take cards and phones?

Yes. Coins, currency, credit and debit, tap and mobile wallets.

Is the food safe in a refrigerated machine?

Yes. Fresh and frozen equipment uses computer-monitored temperature control, product travels refrigerated, and a unit that drifts out of range locks out sales.

Can we put our branding on the machines?

Yes. Machine fronts and the surrounding area can be wrapped. We can design it or work from what your team provides.

Do you serve our area?

We run our own routes from Downers Grove, west to the Fox Valley, northwest along I-90 to Rockford and Janesville, about an hour south past Joliet, and north through Lake County into Kenosha, Racine and Milwaukee. Near the edge of that? Call and ask.

Prefer to talk now?

Talk to our team.

Call Downers Grove and describe your site. You will reach a person who can answer questions before you send anything over.
